Directions: Our Manapouri Accommodation is situated on the Cathedral Drive part of the Main Te Anau / Manapouri highway from Manapouri, just a couple of properties down from the Motor Inn. We are approximately 2 1/2 hours from Queenstown, 2 1/2 hours from Milford Sound, 15 minutes to Te Anau and 15 minutes walk to the departure wharf for Doubtful Sound.
Looking towards the setting sun your view is rimmed with mountain peaks. Snow capped in winter, unmarked by man’s hand, their bush covered flanks lead your eyes to Lake Manapouri's edge. The beach and native bush covered islands blend into a silvered surface, which reflects the mountain images, clouds, colours, stars and moon.
